It was one evening in September. Snow was predicted ... and it arrived about 5 o'clock. Light rain turned to sleet which became snow. We put on our snow gear (!) and went out for a walk. it was so still and quiet. There was about an inch on the paths and we crunched our way round and home to the fireside.
When we bought the Crowsnest, the agent said we could expect snow once a year. So far, that has happened but this was the first time we were there to see it.
